1. Sir is any sqc scheduled in chandigarh or nearby areas in Punjab?

2. Sir , i am a CL student, studying in chennai. But i am from delhi
   Will the SQC workshop be held here at Chennai or at delhi again?

3. Hello GP Sir,
   I am reading up the norms of NIBM,Pune but they are saying that Score of CMAT 2015 will be considered for shortlisting of GD-PI.Sir,CMAT of this September has no Relevance then ??

   please tell me the answer and if possible the way to solve this question :

   A dishonest seller uses a weight of 700 gm in place of 1 kg and adds 15% impurities in pulse. What would be his profit percentage if he claims to be selling at cost price?

   • Dear Pardeep,

     Let us assume that the seller purchases 1 kg of pulse for Rs. 100 (cost price). He adds 15% impurities to this. So he ends up with 1.15 kgs. Impurities are assumed to have zero cost. Hence, his cost price remains the same. Now, he uses improper weights through which 700 grams become 1000 grams. So 1.15 kg will become = 1.15 * (1000 gm/700 gm) = 1.643 kg. The price he gets will be 1.643 * Rs. 100 = Rs 164.3 (since his sale price per unit is the same as his cost price . His profit percentage is = (164.3-100)/100 = 64.3%

6. Hi sir ,

   I am a CL test series student and I got an email from CL that all the past papers are being removed from the elib of CL as they will be provided as section tests.
   My question is :- Are these section tests only containing the questions of the past papers or will they contain some other questions also ?

   Another query :- Is test Gym adaptive only containing past test gym questions or is it having some past exams questions also ??

   • Dear Rahul,

     Sectional Tests contain other questions as well. Similarly, Test Gym Adaptive includes some questions from past years’ papers as well.

7. Dear Sir,

   I could not attend the SQC workshop in Delhi. Will it be scheduled again in the Delhi/NCR region? If not, when will the webinar be conducted?

   • Yes Purvi, another SQC session is being planned for Delhi.

8. Hi Sir ,

   Till last year , the unprocs used to have questions of previous years proc mocks . Will it be the same for this year also or will the unprocs of this year have new questions ??Kindly reply . I am asking this because I have taken all the procs and unprocs of last year during last year itself .

   • Rahul, given the new pattern of CAT’14 all 20 new Pattern papers are fresh with no repetition from the last couple of years Mock CATs.

9. Sir,
   What is the difference between XAT registration and XLRI registration ? I have filled the XAT application form. Do I need to register for XLRI too or XAT score will be enough for the admission in XLRI.

     Yes, you need to register separately for XLRI.

     • Does this apply to SNAP and SIBM or SITM registration too ?

       • Brijesh, yes it does. In the best case the date for applying to the institutes is before the declaration of XAT and SNAP results.

10. Sir I am a CL student and I missed SQC Workshop at Chandigarh.Will it be repeated there or at nearby areas and when?
