The overall difficulty level of the paper was significantly above the difficulty level of SNAP papers in the last two-three years as the difficulty level of at least three sections (QA, VA and Reasoning) was above that of these sections in the recent years.

How often you appear for a test in which around 60% questions have “None of the above” as one of the options? It appears that SNAP took a cue from NOTA of the Election Commission of India.

    I have scored 78 percentile in SNAP. I have been called from SIBM, Hyderabad (New Campus). I am also expecting a call from SIOM, Nashik. Which would be the better of two to choose from?

    SIOM website shows good placement records of about 7lpa.. Is that true?

    As SIBM would offer MBA (General), which would be a better option? SIOM (Operations) or SIBM Hyd (MBA-General)?

    Will SIBM, Hyd have placements in line with SIBM, Pune and SIBM, Bangalore

    • Raja, SIOM will be a better choice especially if you are interested in Operations, its placement data is correct. SIBM Hyd is a new institute and will take time to establish itself.

    I am getting a score of 105.25.What do you about my chnaces?I have 14 months of work ex in an MNC.I heard there won’t be any weightage to profiles this year for SIBM Pune?Will they consider sectional Cutoffs?I heard no.

    Score calculator is showing a score of 89.75, Though i am optimistic about 2-4 marks more. Can you please suggest where the percentile lies with this score. and what are the chances of getting call from SIBM-P,SCMHRD,SIIB. Sir please reply!

HELLO SIR , i had given my cat this year and nt expctng good % but somewhat around 75% … sir i have X – 70% , XII -75% , B.COM -60% , MAT ( dec 2014 ) – 630 , sir i had already wasted my 1 year and cannot waite more so plz suggest me some good collges as per my mat score .. i had selected some i.e CHRIST , ALLIANCE UNIVERSITY , BIMM (PUNE) ,I[PE ( hyderabad ) ,ITM (navi mumbai ) ,jaipuria noida …can i consider any one of above ? or is there any other option and is it worth joining alliance or christ by paying huge fee for avg placement of 5 to 6 lakh or shall i consider some option in delhi ncr ? …. sir plz help ?

    I am a CL student.I had two questions.
    1)Sir as per CL SNAP was tougher this time and the expected cut offs for SCMHRD and SIBM are around 92 and 96.What is the chances of the cut offs becoming higher?

    2) The meaning of the phrase”Knocking the bottom out of something” would accurately mean which one? shake the foundation or collapse of something?

    Please guide.

    • Tania, I do not think that the cutoffs will be significantly higher than these but we will be coming out with percentiles and cutoff scores for SNAP institutes based on the data submitted by all of you next week.
      I think that ”Knocking the bottom out of something” would mean shake the bottom but I could be wrong. Please refer to the memory based paper of SNAP 2014 in Exam Corner for the answer.

    When will we get to know our CL predictor’s snap 2014 percentile as it was written there that after 48 hours it will be updated but haven’t seen anything yet ?

    As per CL score predictor my score is 87.25, so it should lie in the range of 85-89 as I am unsure of 1 or 2 questions. Can you please tell me if it is possible to get calls from SIIB-IB / SIBM-I^2/ SIOM/ SIBM-Bengaluru. Thanks a lot.

    As per the SNAP percentile predictor my score is likely to be around 90. I have 2+years of experience in HCL is there a chance of me getting a call from SIBM, SCMHRD…also I have been hearing that the cut-off marks of colleges go down for experienced candidates…is it true?

  12. Sir, i m getting 71 marks according to CL predictor. I believe the final score to be around 66 or 67+. And yet i had applied for SIBM pune and banglore and SIIB. But it seems difficult to get a call from these colleges. Should i apply for remaning courses under symbi colleges i.e SIOM, SITM, SIMC, SSBF AND SIIB-AGRI. Can i really expect a call from these colleges with this score ???

    Getting a score of 102.5 . Some questions were raised in pagalguy as the not attempted questions are being marked as wrong answers. Has this been rectified. I checked this yesterday.

    There can be a +/-2 in the above score can i expect a call from SIBM Pune ??

    As per the CL Score Calculator i’m geeting around 81.25 marks, So is it sufficient to get a call from SIBM -P and SCHMRD ?

    As per CL SNAP 2014 Calculator,my score was 77.xx in afternoon and now it is showing 89.xx.Was there any technical problem in it? Which score should I consider?

  21. Sir,
    There were few questions different in my paper (Set P) from the ones that are uploaded. How do I mark answer for them in the Live Calculator. For example, the Venn Diagram( 3 subjects) one where data is given for different subject.
    One more doubt I have is whether the question cutoff includes the wrong questions?

    I believe there happens to be a glitch in this score calculation.
    The questions I didn’t attempt is falling under the category of wrong attempts. And therefore,I believe that my overall score is incorrect.
